Avion has a dual pipe system that in some areas delivers both domestic drinking water and surface irrigation water. All surface irrigation water delivered by Avion is non-potable and therefore does not follow the same Oregon Administrative Rules (OARS) following water pressure, outages, and required notifications.

Surface irrigation water delivered is measured in gallons per minute (GPM) and does not have a specific pressure associated with it. The GPM is determined by the irrigation district the number of allocated acres of irrigation for the taxlot and is not a guarantee. Many conditions effect GPM including but not limited to snowpack, river flows, drought, and demand.

Calls for surface water irrigation service made outside of normal operating hours may be considered non-emergent and are subject to applicable field-related charges per Avion’s current approved tariff.
